Emily Merryweather is an artist currently working in graphite and watercolor. She lives at the edge of the Eno River State Park where she derives much of the wild, mysterious, and quiet which have become her subjects. She received her Fine Art undergraduate degree from Taylor University where she specialized in sculpture and installation art. She has exhibited her work in Upland, Indiana, Copan Ruinas, Honduras, Asheville, NC, and Hillsborough, NC. She currently resides in Durham, NC with her husband and three children in whose presence art making never ceases.
